Transcripts

Transcripts from any secondary (high school) and post-secondary (university) institutions you have attended. These transcripts must be in English and interpreted for the 4.0 grade point average (GPA) scale. Â鶹²ú¾«¹úÆ· More accepts transcript evaluations from NACES members such as Ìý²¹²Ô»åÌý.

English Proficiency Tests (TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo)

  • PTE
    • Minimum overall score of 46 (minimum score of 42 on each section)
  • TOEFL
    • Internet-based: minimum overall score of  70 (minimum score of 17 in each section)
    • Paper-Based: minimum overall score of 520 (minimum score of 35 in each section)
  • IELTS
    • Minimum overall score of 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 on each section)

Important Deadlines

Important Deadlines: International students who still need to apply for a new student visa MUST have ALL required application materials submitted to Admissions Office on or before the dates below in order to be considered for admission for the next starting term. Any students who do not submit all requested materials by this deadline will need to indicate if they wish to withdraw their application or defer to the following session.

Fall semester (August begin date):
Overseas Application Deadline: May 1
Overseas I-20 Processing Deadline: May 15

Spring Semester (January begin date):
International Application deadline: October 15
International I-20 Processing Deadline: November 1

You will also need to submit documentation for the Designated School Official (DSO) to create the Form I-20 in SEVIS for you. You will use the Form I-20 to apply for an F-1 visa to study in the United States.

The documents required for the Form I-20 are:

  1. Proof of immunization (see Immunization Form and Medical History) and copies of your medical and immunization records. Your records will remain confidential.
  2. Medical Health History form (Medical History).  Please submit this form so the health center is aware of any health concerns or history
  3. Proof of financial support (see Financial Certification Form)–you must show how you will pay for tuition, fees, room and board, health insurance and daily living expenses each year of your studies at Â鶹²ú¾«¹úÆ·.   4. Proof of health insurance. Students may provide proof that their current home country insurance plan will cover their stay in the United States, or they can purchase a health insurance plan in the United States. Â鶹²ú¾«¹úÆ· recommends enrolling with .
