Summer Camps

Each summer, Â鶹²ú¾«¹úÆ· invites area youth to enhance their skills in a variety of activities. As a community-focused institution, Â鶹²ú¾«¹úÆ· More welcomes thousands of children to see the University through their own eyes, whether that’s via a STEM educational camp at the Biology Field Station or an athletic camp on the courts and fields. (Various sports ages 6 through 18/Individuals and teams – Early June through late July)

Campers learn the fundamentals of individual and team play and older groups learn more advanced techniques as well as values that can aid success on and off the court. Staff members include current Â鶹²ú¾«¹úÆ· More coaches, players, and other assistants. This staff provides instruction for any level player.

Additional Camps

ECO (Ecology, Conservation, & Outreach) STEM Camp

July 14-17, 2024

ECO STEM camp is a four-day overnight summer camp for high school students. Campers are immersed in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) and conservation sessions focused on the ecology of the Ohio River and its watershed. Led by Â鶹²ú¾«¹úÆ· More faculty, researchers, and conservation professionals, campers get hands-on, feet-wet experiences exploring various disciplines within ecology and conservation.

Summer Theater Workshop

July 8-19, 2024

This two-week long workshop will be a fantastic opportunity for students (Grades 10-12) to explore and enhance their performing arts skills in a fun and supportive environment. The workshop will provide a unique blend of acting, voice, movement, and stagecraft workshops, led by experienced and passionate instructors. Participants will have the chance to collaborate with their peers, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
