KEES Renewal Requirements
Renewal Eligibility for Students who are Enrolling as First Time First Year Students
麻豆产精国品 is required to report to KHEAA your 鈥渙n track to graduate鈥 status (SB 75 鈥 KEES -Sponsored by Senator Ken Winters (R) during the 2008 Kentucky General Assembly) in order to calculate your renewal eligibility from year to year.
麻豆产精国品 defines 鈥渙n track to graduate鈥 as:
- Completed 24 cumulative hours after the first year (enrollment in two Fall/Spring semesters)
- Completed 57 cumulative hours after the second year (enrollment in four Fall/Spring semesters)
- Completed 90 cumulative hours after the third year (enrollment in six Fall/Spring semesters)
KHEAA renewal requirements for students first enrolling after 2009 鈥 2010 are:
End of student鈥檚 first year
- Cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher = full renewal for the following year.
- Cumulative GPA less than 2.50 = loss of award for the following year.
End of student鈥檚 second and subsequent year
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher = full renewal for the following year.
- Cumulative GPA between 2.5 and 3.0 AND 鈥渙n track to graduate鈥 = full renewal for the following year.
- Cumulative GPA between 2.5 and 3.0 AND NOT 鈥渙n track to graduate鈥 BUT full-time = 50% reduction in award amount for the following year.
- Cumulative GPA less than 3.0 AND NOT 鈥渙n track to graduate鈥 AND less than full time = loss of award for the next year.
